Hey guys- Cupcake here! I'm so sorry I haven't posted any Passover recipes yet, but now I'm starting! This isn't really a "recipe post" with ingredients and preperation and all that stuff, it's just telling you about my family and I's favorite Passover sandwiches.
So I personally like avacado and matzah sandwiches the best, but as with all matzah sandwiches there are some dangers. Say it's Passover and you're bringing in your matzah sandwich for lunch. It's 11:45 am and your sandwich was made roughly five hours ago. That's five hours for you sandwich to squish and squash and meld together and get nice and soggy. Especially when avacado's involved.
Some other matzah sandwiches include: cream cheese and lox, various kinds of meat, last night's dinner, and really anything you put on a normal sandwich.
What's your favorite kind of matzah sandwich? Tell me in the comments below!

Passover
Hey guys, Cupcake here! So tomorrow night marks the start of Passover and means that me, being Jewish, can not eat leavened foods. Candy is not Jewish, but is SERIOUSLY in love with matzah. Since there is very minimal baking we can do, and since during Passover practically everything Candy eats has matzah, we'll be sharing some fun, okay-for-Passover recipes including the unlimited matzah sandwich options.
If you have any delicious Passover recipes, we would love to have you email us or leave it in the comments below. We'll test them out and if we like them, put them up here!
Thanks!
PS: The emailing or commenting recipes also goes for non-Passover recipes any time. We love to hear from you! You can also (like Harold Saxon) ask us to make things that you don't have a recipe for! (By the way Harold, Candy and I are looking into smorsels!)

Experimental Baking #1- Confetti Crunchcakes
Our first recipe post! We're warning you these "crunchcakes" are a wee bit dry! (Okay, quite a bit dry, BUT WE DIDN'T HAVE A RECIPE!)
Ingredients
LOTS of sprinkles
Ingredients
LOTS of sprinkles
2 1/4 cup cake flour
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup milk
*SECRET INGREDIENT*- a little bit of plain popcorn (popped)
Preparation - makes about 18
I. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
II. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, vanilla, butter, and milk. Set aside.
III. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
IV. Gradually stir in the wet mixture.
V. Stir the sprinkles. Then add more until anymore sprinkle would make it disgusting. Then add more.
VI. Put the popcorn in a sandwich bag. CRUSH IT!!!!!! (Which by the way, is GREAT for getting your anger out!)
VII. Fill each cupcake tin halfway with batter. Add a layer of popcorn. Finish filling each tin.
VIII. Bake for about 25 minutes. Cool.
Decoration
Well, you see we attempted to make frosting, but, we kinda epically failed! So instead we covered (DOUSED!) each crunchcake with powdered sugar. It didn't fix the moisture issues, but it tasted awesome!
Welcome!
Hi, we're Candy and Cupcake (not real names!) and this is our blog! We love to cook and bake and especially experimental cooking without a recipe! On this blog we'll give you recipes we've created ourselves (even if they've failed), recipes by other people that we find especially good, and anything else food related that we find interesting! We hope you enjoy!
